LUCIA
Lucia plays music with her band. She loves indie artists like CHVRCHES and Tame Impala. She’s going to the Bonanza Festival in the summer with Tom. She’s a senior at high school and is already orienting to study at the Music Department of Dixie State University. Lucia plays guitar and sings. Her parents will let her travel to Europe during the summer after graduation, that’s an extra motivation for her to look after the hotel.
Lucia doesn’t really get along with people at school but doesn’t really care about that. She would rather be on her own and has no desire to fit in with any group. Tom is the guy she trusts, he has that edge that she likes. He’s not a loner, but she always has the feeling that Tom can really be himself with her. Lucia just does her thing and Tom seems to enjoy that.
TOM
Tom loves to alter his state of mind. He replaced an unhealthy addiction with a less dangerous habit of e-smoking. Obviously he has one of those enhanced ones. He plays the keys and is quite good at it. Although with everything in his life, he doesn’t really chase those kinds of talents besides playing in an indie band.
Tom is a smart kid. Knows a lot of people but keeps everyone at a distance. He’s the guy you go to for a laugh or to order drugs, people don’t look further than that. Tom’s trying to get into Princeton next year.
