Sexorcism wins Best Cinematography at ADCN Awards

The short, dealing with the dark side of porn, took home one of the top prizes at the adcn ceremony.

The dutch Creativity Awards is handed out every year to the best in visual work of the Netherlands. This is what the jury had to say: “It’s an homage to the genre (we thoughT of Dario Argento’s Suspiria and more recently The Neon Demon). Cinematography is the strongest side of the film and we thought from art department, cast and wardrobe: everything was designed to serve the photography.”

Congratulations to our fellow producer hazazah, cinematographer aziz al-dilaimi and cineville, who gave us the chance to create our twisted 2-minute vision of what the world of the porn possessed looks like.

Sexorcism also had a successful festival run, with selections at Upstate Horror Fest (New York), Hollywood Horror Film Festival, Genre Celebration Festival (Tokyo), Schnitt Worldwide Short Festival (Bern, Buenos Aires, Cairo, Cape Town, Hong Kong, Moscow & San Jose) and the Terror in the Bay Film Festival (Ontario).
