MEET JIMMY SELECTED FOR HOLLAnd FILM MEETING 2023

Accepted into the program ‘stories & Beyond’, we’ll be looking for script feedback and potential co-producers for our horror film.

Meet Jimmy has been quite the ride. in 2018 the supernatural boogeyman horror was shot as a 6-minute short, with the rights being sold to paramount pictures in the us. since then we’ve seen many versions of the script either being written by someone else, or by ourselves. but nothing could predict the pandemic hitting and the studio giving the rights to our film back two years ago.

taking steps to develop meet jimmy closer to home has not only been a good decision to keep the story as authentically scary and fresh as we’d like, but has also attracted the interest of new partners. but to really get the movie off the ground, we’re looking for a strong development team. getting accepted into holland film meeting gives us the right starting off point to present our new version with the intention of finding more co-producers and allies to get the script in the best shape.

Holland film meeting is the is the international programme of the Netherlands Film Festival focused on the promotion and development of Dutch audiovisual projects and professionals with international potential. For the full 2023 line-up, check their website.
