First day of binary shoot is a wrap!

The queer horror film is part of anthology series ‘koolhoven presenteert’ and will be released next year.

binary is a mid-length film that’s produced by prpl and bloodrave, directed by david-jan bronsgeest and written by tim koomen.

It’s the bloodrave debut we’ve been dreaming of. An edge of your seat body horror film about a trans woman who’s being haunted by her former male gender identity. while the rest of the story details is being kept under wraps, we’re excited to announce we’re working with an amazing cast: charlie chan dagelet, yannick josefzoon, bram klappe, Richelle plantinga, matthias van de vijver, sofia yousfi and hugo koolschijn. newcomer and first time actress inaya zarakhel will play the film’s lead role.

Binary will be part of a 6-part anthology series for the vpro. Koolhoven’s production company n279 is supervising all the episodes, which are backed by the npo fund and the dutch film fund.
