David-jan and tim discuss why horror is(n’t) working in the netherlands, their new movie binary, queer horror and what’s next.

in the middle of the night, the interview was taking place at the studio of npo radio 1 for bnn/vara. there’s something magical about waking up after a couple hours of sleep to sit down and dive into your biggest passion - especially while the rest of the country has drifted off to dreamland. maybe it’s also the best setting for a horror talk.

the 45-minute interview was a great way for tim and dj to talk about what they’ve building with bloodrave so far. the challenges along the way and why a dream which it all starts with, is not necessarily the same dream a couple years down the road. with many ups and downs, about to release our first (bigger) movie binary and with two others in development.
